Remote working Tips

Below are a few bullet points to keep you and your team on the same page about working remotely.

  • Employees must remain accessible by phone, email, or other acceptable means to perform their required tasks according to their identical on-site work schedule or “core hours.” If an employee’s residence lacks reliable phone and/or internet, they will be ineligible to work remotely without their supervisors consent. The expectation for salaried employee’s accessibility outside of their core hours remain the same as before this initiative.

  • Employees will be expected to limit interruptions, actively work, and not focus on or conduct personal business or other activities without their supervisors consent during their core hours. Working remotely is a privilege and should not be treated as vacation days, holidays, or scheduled days off.

  • Hourly employees should track and report their work time just like they would at the office.

  • This initiative in all or in part may be rescinded at any time at the sole discretion of the Company.

  • As a reminder, all employees are encouraged to practice social distancing by keeping a safe distance (approximately 6 feet) from others, and avoid public venues when possible. The goal of social distancing is to reduce the probability of contact between persons carrying the COVID-19 virus and others not infected, so as to minimize disease transmission. Let’s all work together to do our part to protect ourselves, family, friends, and coworkers!
